Undergraduate Higher Diploma in Leadership and Management

Individuals will learn about the importance of the role of the leader / manager and where it originated from; how leadership developed over time. Leaners will also be educated about the responsibilities of the leader / manager, and what needs to be done within this role. This qualification does not only focus on the technical skills of being a leader, such as financial literacy, project management and other management processes. Learners will also learn about certain aspects like communication, group dynamics and others.

What you'll learn

By the end of the course, the learner will be able to:

  • Have better knowledge on the leadership role
  • Work effectively within the role of a leader / manager
  • Effectively communicate between individuals within the organisation structure
  • Develop knowledge on organisation skills and behaviour
  • Work with problem solving with complex situations within a company, including delegation and decision making
  • Lead the organisation towards its values, vision, mission and culture.

Exit awards are available - if a student wishes to drop out at any point, they will still be awarded certificates of achievement for all completed modules.

Prerequisites
A qualification of minimum Level 4 in Human Resources; or A Matsec certificate; and An O' level or equivalent in English language.
